I'll admit to going into this cynically. I'm absolutely horrible with journaling, keeping a calendar, and running any sort of social media that depends upon semi-regular posts. However,  after seeing what felt like the seventh link to a peer's blogger, I thought, "Ya know, I can string words together in an organized fashion. I have opinions! I should probably write them down!" 

And here we both sit. You, reading; me, pedantically attempting to write about my life. So, here it is. A blog. I hope you get some form of enjoyment out of this, and I do solemnly swear (that I am up to no good) to attempt to post something at least once a week. 

BUT we'll see how well that works out. 

Um. A bit about me, I guess, since this is the inaugural post. I love penguins, pugs, and all things purple; I love Scotland, young adult fiction, and am an avid collector of books and plush penguins. I drink coffee like Lorelai Gilmore, aim to be as brave as Emma Swan, as strong as Peggy Carter, and have all of the overly-mothering characteristics of Molly Weasley. Is that sentence nerdy enough? When I'm not flailing over Once Upon a Time, I'm probably knitting and day-dreaming about Captain America. I am also a hoarder of chocolate, and my favorite winter accessory is my heating pad. Also, my cat hates me. 

That's about it.
